Farzaneh Shayegh Boroujeni

She has joined DSP research lab from 2006. Her background is Biomedical Engineering with emphasis on EEG signal processing and eye-blink artifact reduction from normal scalp EEG.

In Ph.D program, she works on mathematical modeling and computer simulation of brain electrical activity in order to prediction of epilepsy siezures. Through modifying and improving a well-defined model for brain electical activity, she is trying to find appropriate values for model parameters and tracking them to find if the seizure will be happen in near time.
